Reaching Your Limits?

Psychotherapy for the couples feeling lonely and exhausted in their own home, for the burnt out high achievers struggling to find meaning, and for the person ready to explore their hidden depths.

A Different Perspective

Trevor Bellon, AMFT, APCC

I became a psychotherapist out of a reverence for the depth and complexity of the psyche. Before this chapter, I had a decade long career in the pressure filled, analytical environments of engineering and consulting. This background allows me to work well with driven, high achieving couples and individuals in tech, business, or the creative arts. My Approach

Does this sound familiar?

  • On the outside: Your life looks completely fine to everyone else, but internally something feels deeply off.

  • In your relationship: You feel a thousand miles apart even when you’re sitting in the same room, battling a sense of fear, loneliness, or exhaustion.

  • On your own: You’re tired of being told you’re “too sensitive” or “just be positive” when the real question that is looping is “what’s the point of all this?”

If this resonates, you don't have to figure it out alone.

How We Work Together

In early sessions after we gather some general history, we start by simply listening so we can discover the right language for what you’ve been carrying. Once we can name the problem, our work takes shape in three ways:

  1. Understand your patterns

  2. Feel what’s been hidden or pushed away

  3. Develop actions to take outside the therapy room

For Couples

I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and psychodynamic perspectives to map the patterns that keep you stuck, surface the emotions beneath them, and provide practical tools that build secure connection.

For Individuals

With individuals, I integrate psychodynamic and existential therapy to cultivate insight, emotional awareness, and create meaning—paired with evidence-based skills from CBT and DBT to support action and real change.

I work with clients across California via telehealth.
